Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account on LocalBTV, we collect your email address to identify and contact you. If you choose to sign up with a password (vs. a social account such as Facebook) then your password is stored securely with a trusted 3rd party and is not available to Didja Inc systems and personnel. Didja and LocalBTV never see or know about any credit card information used for certain transactions. See “Third Parties” below.
Application Data
To make the LocalBTV experience better, we collect information on how you use our service and how you interact with the LocalBTV app. Though we collect information about programs our users watch, we do not disclose any viewership data associated with a specific user.
Location
We obtain information about your location in order to determine what TV stations to display for you. Your personal location data is not permanently stored or shared with 3rd parties. Some location information may temporarily reside in service logs for up to 7 days in order to assist customers with geo-location issues. These logs are only accessible by authorized individuals.
Audience Measurement
LocalBTV may feature Nielsen’s proprietary measurement software which will allow you to contribute to market research, like Nielsen’s TV Ratings. To learn more about this information and to opt out, see https://www.nielsen.com/digitalprivacy. Nielsen’s software may collect your choices with regards to it but will not know who you are or other LocalBTV account info.
How We Use Your Information
Employees and Contractors
We may disclose your name, zip code and email address to our employees and contractors only for the purpose of administering, providing, and improving your service or for solving customer service problems you may have. Our employees and contractors have agreed not to disclose your information to others.
Third Parties
Your information is stored on equipment operated by secure, highly-trusted third parties including storage providers and analytics tools providers.
We do not sell or otherwise provide your personal information to third parties for uses unrelated to LocalBTV, including advertising or marketing.
We use Recurly to process payments for some services. Recurly meets and exceeds all industry-standard payment security practices. Didja, Inc. personnel do not come into contact with nor have the ability to access credit card information.
Complying With the Law
We may reveal information to satisfy or comply with any law, regulation, or legal process including subpoenas, litigation, or court orders.
Major Corporate Event
We may share or transfer some or all of our assets including information identified in this privacy policy in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale.
Links to Third-Party Sites
Our service may link to other websites and services. Any information you provide on those services is provided directly to the owner of that service and subject to that party’s privacy policy. Our privacy policy does not apply to such services and we’re not responsible for the content, privacy, security practices, or policies of those services.
Deleting Your Data
LocalBTV maintains historical usage data for internal analytics and anonymized, aggregated business reporting.
If you wish to delete your account, please select My Account -> Delete Account from the LocalBTV app or contact us at support@localbtv.com. Please make sure to include the email address that you registered with. Upon deletion, your email address will no longer be stored in our system.

As LocalBTV continues to develop, we may decide to revise this privacy policy from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this Privacy page.
